Éric Lamblin, known as Crackoï, has always had a camera in hand. On or under water, he has never strayed far from the sea to sail, surf, dive, freedive, etc. He met Guillaume Boeye “underwater,” photographing the same whale as him, in the bay of Saint-Leu. This chance encounter would lead to hundreds of outings and thousands of hours spent at sea. They freedive, an approach technique adapted to respecting the integrity of humpback whales, emblematic of a world that is still wild and unknown. Together, in 2019, they published Communion with whales their most beautiful moments alongside whales with as many people as possible.
